Under the musical direction of Daryl McKenzie, The Melbourne Jazz Trombone Ensemble is 8 Trombones and a Rhythm Section paying tribute to the great ensembles of JJ.Johnson& Kai Winding, Urbie Green, Slide Hampton, Michael Davis, Jiggs Whigham, Charlie Small, Matt Neiss & the Capitol Bones, UNT U-Tubes and Bonerama. Members include some of Melbourne's finest jazz trombone players and a swinging Rhythm Section playing skillfully crafted arrangements for this unique ensemble sound.
